Mother and Children Series 1- Pigs

This was inspired by an article from The Oregonian

that included a series of the photographs of a mother and her babies. 

It was a story about the very coldhearted and brutal nature of survival,with not all babies able to survive.

I love this big gap between the cute photographic images and the story behind them. 

 

The mother pig normally has lots of piglets and they fight each other to get milk form their mother.

Most of the time she doesn't have enough nipples for all the babies, and some eventually die from lack of food.

This painting shows it will be happening in the future.

Some of the piglets are already changing into a different form toward to death.
