Freedom 

While I was painting this painting, I was listening to George Michael’s song called Freedom.

I could hear him struggling to free himself from both his public image. I can hear his own voice coming through in the song.​

This painting expresses the joy and freedom that comes after all the struggle and challenge (still subtly visible underneath).

And a trumpet in the center blasting out in celebration.
