Two Birds

I painted these two birds in some paintings a long time and the image has always stayed in my mind.

It probably reminds me of my daughter and me, and the closeness we felt when she was small…

going places and doing everything together all the time.

Now that she is almost grown and does most things on her own,

I probably want to paint these birds to remind me of that happy time.
