These are a series of three vertical paintings. 

 

This particular painting reminds me of a Japanese summer festival,

where there's always a vendor who sells small paper “fishing nets” to catch a goldfish.

They are swimming like crazy inside the fish tank,

but almost always die within a day or two, which the kids are not expecting.

I always felt so guilty for not be able to keep them alive longer,

but because of that, we buy them again next time.
