Shiver Me Timbers

A series of two Pirate theme paintings.​

 

I have a great memory of my son’s Pirate birthday party.

Boys and girls dressed in pirate costumes complete with eye patches and fake mustaches I drew, 

fought with inflatable swords and ran around screaming “rrrrrr…”. 

I remember their innocence and pure joyful smile on their faces like yesterday. 

This painting captures that moment with a cannon loaded with cannonballs

and a splash of water to represent their fun.
